Many baaaaaaaad things can happen to your guitar if the humidity is too low. Wood cracks, glue joints fail, and braces pop loose. Ouch! To protect your guitar I suggest you use a humidifier when the humidity drops below forty percent. This one by Planet Waves is good and easy to use.
